Isn’t it amazing when you find a piece of clothing that makes you do a major “happy dance”? Well I have. This dress from Free People is giving me serious life right now gearing up for Thanksgiving because, let’s face it, I will be stuffing my face with everything and I still want to look chic AND comfortable post stuffing. Ahhh the joys of dressing “for the occasion”. And the color!!! I mean is there anything more “fall appropriate” than a rich, dark mauve? And don’t get me started on the ruffles. Must. Stop.

Like I’ve mentioned in previous posts, the weather in Orlando, FL. is really not lending itself yet to cold weather clothing so I can still get away with my favorite sandals (old) #yay! So come Thanksgving, this is probably how I will rock this boho dress. I’ve paired it with a festive little clutch (old, again) to give it a little “lux pop” and simple accessories (I prefer gold to make the color look richer). I like the fact that even though the dress may seem “busy” because of the ruffles and bell sleeves, it’s got that total boho vibe I live for and if I decided to pile on the accessories (the right ones) it will not be too much. Probably a bunch of necklaces, maybe some elaborate earrings or even a cool headpiece and a fringe bag…it would all look cool and boho chic…just not everything at the same time, mind you ha! Come colder weather, can’t wait to rock it out with tall boots and a vest. I’ll let you guys know how that works out.

Hope you guys have an amazing week,

Xoxo,

Raquel
